£1.8m Office Investment Sets the Tone for Lifestyle Brand Strata
Strata, homebuilder and aspiring lifestyle brand, has unveiled a £1.8 million refurbishment of its head office facilities at Lakeside in Doncaster.
Opening its doors to customers, suppliers and colleagues, Strata has celebrated the completion of its three-storey makeover, which has delivered a contemporary and modern open plan design that is underpinned by the latest market-leading technologies.
Benefitting from a panoramic backdrop, enhanced by a floor-to-ceiling wall of glass overlooking the lake, Strata’s offices sit across three floors, each with a purpose that is defined by its layout.
The top floor is a ‘loft’ space that is dedicated to design, giving architects and creatives the opportunity to share ideas, trends and insights, resulting in house types that take influence from the locations of each development and their surroundings.
The second floor is an open-plan office space to invert the typical office pyramid. Rather than working top down, the business now encourages collaboration and working across multi-disciplinary teams.
As customers increasingly expect brands to anticipate and meet their needs in real time, Strata’s ground floor is devoted to encouraging interactive customer engagement in a warm and welcoming environment for visitors.
An industry first, Strata has invested in a configurator which will allow customers to have a more immersive experience as they choose the fixtures and fittings – viewing them in context using digital technologies – to make their chosen house their home.
CEO of Strata, Andrew Weaver, comments: “Everything we do at Strata has the customer in mind and the office refurbishment is no different. We wanted to create an environment that was welcoming and reflective of our brand – which is modern and contemporary – but also that would use the latest technologies to give an experience like no other.
“Embracing new ways of working, we have invested in the technologies that will speed up information flow, communication and empower employee teams to make decisions and control the progress at site level.”
Wishing to attract and retain the best local talent from the property industry and beyond, Strata hopes its new office environment will appeal to those who want to work for an aspirational brand that thinks, acts and behaves differently.
Andrew concludes: “The completion of the refurbishment really does set the tone for Strata and the ambitious plans we have for the future. We are very much looking forward to sharing the benefits that our new space will bring to customers and the wider Strata family.”
