  • Andrew Jackson kicks off 2017 with key appointment

Law firm Andrew Jackson has today announced the appointment of Adam Sinclair, strengthening its offering regionally and throughout the UK. Adam will be a key addition to the firm’s business development team and will work out of its York offices and across the region. The announcement follows the recent opening of the firm’s latest regional office in Scarborough last month.

    Adam Sinclair said:

“Whilst I have always been aware of Andrew Jackson, I have followed their successes much more closely since their York office opened in 2013, cementing their position as a big player in the region. I am delighted and excited to join a firm that has made such great strides regionally, nationally and overseas, yet remains absolutely committed to delivering a service with personal care and attention at its heart.

“I started my career in the legal profession myself, working in property law in London and, whilst I made the move to the world of business and commerce many years ago, I have retained the basis of knowledge and skills that will enable me to bridge the gap between legal services and the needs of business clients.”

Adam has worked in senior management in York and the surrounding region for many years as managing director of a large family business and brings an invaluable insight into the commercial needs of businesses large and small when they are seeking legal services. Until now, Adam has chaired York’s new Business Improvement District comprising over 1,000 businesses.

Adam concluded: “It’s a great time to join the firm, with the recent opening of the Scarborough office, and the success of the York office, which continues to thrive. There is no doubt that 2016 was a fantastic year for the team at Andrew Jackson; the client offer has never been stronger.  I look forward to playing my part in ensuring that, collectively, we build on this success and ensure that we continue to provide an exceptional service that is tailored to the needs of the businesses and individuals we work with.”

Mark Pearson-Kendall, managing partner of Andrew Jackson, said:

“Adam’s client focussed approach to connecting businesses and legal advisors is a perfect fit for the firm, so we are delighted to have him on board.  Andrew Jackson’s commitment to the provision of trusted legal advice in a commercial and practical manner is consistently recognised in our client feedback.

“With his roots in Yorkshire, both professionally and personally, Adam is well respected for his work throughout the UK, with a varied career as an employer and a leader voice in the business community and brings an invaluable perspective to the team. I am excited that with Adam’s valuable insight and expertise, we will be able to provide tailored legal solutions to more businesses and individuals throughout UK and overseas.”

Andrew Jackson was recently highlighted in the 2017 edition of industry bible, Chambers & Partners, with 12 of its lawyers singled out as being ‘leaders in their field’ of expertise, which includes national recognition for certain sectors.
