Charity Evening at Brown’s Department Store York for Dementia
The staff at Brown’s Department Store York are hosting an exclusive Christmas Shopping event on Tuesday 17th October 2017, to raise vital funds for the York Teaching Hospital Charity’s Dementia Appeal.
All the proceeds from ticket money and raised on the evening will support dementia patients during their stay in the local hospitals. The money will be used to buy activities, photos and games all designed to stimulate memories, some special equipment that encourages independent living and some simple environment improvements to benefit the experience of patients and their families.
The evening will provide a unique out of hours shopping experience in one of York’s best loved Department Stores. There are a limited number of tickets that are on sale now and can be purchased for £10 each by contacting Maria on 01904 724521 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Maggie Bulman, Trust & Corporate Fundraiser said “We are very grateful to the team at Browns York for their continued support of our local hospitals, these exclusive shopping events are always very popular. The money raised will make a big difference to patients and staff.”
The ticket price also includes:
- A glass of fizz and nibbles while you shop
- £5 redeemable on purchases.
- 20% discount in most departments
