Companies encouraged to attend cyber security futures workshop
The Department of Computer Science at the University of York is encouraging companies from across the UK to attend a new two-day workshop focusing on the future of cyber security.
The workshop, held at the University, will bring together researchers and students from industry, academia and government to address cutting-edge challenges in cyber security.
12 UK and International speakers will discuss topics including: identity management, privacy engineering, applied cryptography and quantum and post-quantum security.
The event, which is organised and hosted by the York Interdisciplinary Centre for Cyber Security, led by Professor Delararm Kahrobaei, will take place on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st June 2019.
There are 10 free places available to local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and reduced price places for 2nd bookings from the same company.
