HR duo first to bring internationally-renowned CIPD courses to Scarborough
Bespoke Professional Development and Training Ltd (BePro), a leading North Yorkshire-based training provider, is celebrating their popular Human Resource Management courses becoming accredited by the internationally-renowned Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
The CIPD is the only worldwide organisation to award chartered status to individual Human Resource and Learning and Development professionals and is recognised internationally as the professional standard for HR and training specialists.
The recognition will make them the first in the Scarborough area to offer such accredited courses. The new Scarborough courses will include level 3 Foundation classes in HR Practice and Learning and Development Practice and Intermediate level 5 classes in HR Management and Learning and Development.
Based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, BePro is headed up by mother and daughter duo Val Swales and Georgina Selmi who, between them, have over 25 years of experience managing human resources and over 12 years of experience teaching CIPD courses. They work with organisations such as North Yorkshire County Council, the NHS, York City Council, Mersen UK and Greencore Selby to successfully deliver professional programmes and bespoke training.
Speaking about the new courses, BePro MD, Val Swales said: “Becoming accredited to deliver CIPD professional programmes in Stokesley and York was a huge achievement for myself and Georgina to ensure that people in North Yorkshire were able to access professional education at a time and place to suit them.
“Expanding our offering further into the Scarborough area we think will be of great benefit to businesses who want to develop their workforce and also to individuals who wish to progress with their chosen career or want to make a move into HR or L&D.
“Businesses evolve around their staff, and having an accredited HR course available right on their doorstep ensures that companies can have a distinct professional advantage to manage their most valuable resource.”
As well as Stokesley, BePro offer classroom based courses at Teesside and York St John Universities, and in-house at individual business premises around Teesside and North Yorkshire for individual clients.
BePro’s classes start in Scarborough in November 2017. Those interested in attending the courses, available via flexible learning options including evenings, can find out more information or register their interest at www.beprodevelopment.co.uk
