JPG promotes within for its board of directors
David Allwood has recently been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors and equity shareholder at JPG in July this year.
David Allwood is a Qualified Chartered Structural Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in building structures. David originally joined JPG back in 2007 as a project engineer. He then continued to develop his career with JPG and was appointed as Country Manager for JPG’s new venture in the Middle East starting in 2013 and assisted in establishing the office in Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman, before returning to the UK in 2016 as an Associate.
During his time at JPG, David has worked on numerous projects both nationally and internationally covering a wide range of high profile projects across many sectors from new build high rise residential buildings, new office developments, schools, retail parks and historic listed building conversions. Keys projects which David has been involved with include Think Money Campus at Trafford Park Manchester, The New British School redevelopment in Muscat, Oman and the Chocolate Works redevelopment in York.
David Allwood said: “Having worked for JPG for over 11 years, I have always found the company to be supportive in not only my own personal development but the growth of my career within JPG, and I am thrilled to be taking the next progressive step. David is now part of the Board of Directors and is running one of the structures teams within the business in the Leeds head office.
