  • Meet new recruits at the Spring Graduate Jobs and Internships Fair 2019

For the cost of a standard listing on a graduate job-site, you could become an exhibitor at the University of Leeds’ first recruitment fair of 2019.

The University of Leeds is a leading Russell Group institution, and is in the top 10 most targeted universities by graduate recruiters (High Fliers 2018).

Head of Student Careers, Jane Campbell, commented: “at our Careers Fair you will have an opportunity to meet our highly skilled students and attract the best talent into your organisation. The Fair is a major recruitment event in the area and is also attended by students from other universities in the city, making it an ideal event for you to promote your opportunities”.

Reflecting on the 2018 event, G2V said: “Leeds students are definitely vibrant and open, campus is lovely and well-structured on the day.”

MDS said: “[they] always enjoy the Leeds careers fairs – friendly team, bright students, and yummy lunch.”

The event is held on Wednesday 8th May 2019 at The Edge, University of Leeds, and you can expect to see around 1300 students from all disciplines and year groups.

The fair has a designated Local Employer Zone, which reflects the desire of the majority of students to remain in Leeds upon completion of their studies. Leeds performs well in graduate retention (Leeds City Council report 2017), and is a very appealing London alternative for the highest calibre graduates (Centre for Cities). Graduate retention is extremely beneficial for the local market, and maintaining a skilled workforce is increasingly important.
