Pearsons & Ward expands its wills and probate team
Leading law firm Pearsons & Ward Solicitors is delighted to announce the appointment of Laura Carter as Solicitor to its growing Wills & Probate team in Malton.
Laura is the latest appointment for Pearsons & Ward, part of Ware & Kay Solicitors Ltd, which serves clients across Ryedale, North and East Yorkshire.
In her new role Laura will advise clients on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (which help clients protect against the difficulties that arise with finances or personal decisions if mental capacity is lost), inheritance tax planning and the administration of estates after someone has died.
Having grown up in Ryedale and living in Pickering, Laura is well known in the area and her local knowledge will be a huge benefit to developing relationships with the Ryedale community. As a graduate of the University of York and the York College of Law, Laura gained extensive experience and knowledge working in a Leeds practice and qualified as a Solicitor in 2015. Laura is eager to play an active part in the town and countryside and will be working closely with Emma Elwess & Lynne Smith.
