Residents Take to the Streets to Get to Know Their Neighbours
Residents at David Wilson Homes’ Saxon Gate development in Stamford Bridge are celebrating after hosting their first community street party earlier this month. The exciting event offered residents the chance to get to know their neighbours on the development, and welcomed over 60 guests, who all enjoyed a wonderful afternoon full of family-fun activities.
The street party, which took place earlier this month, was supported by David Wilson Homes, which organised an ice cream van to attend to provide free ice creams for attendees. The housebuilder also provided a celebration hamper from York’s favourite tearoom, Betty’s, for the raffle, which raised money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Heather Gill, organiser of the event, commented: “We’re delighted with the turnout for our street party. It was a wonderful opportunity to get to know all of our neighbours on the development, and we hope that this street party will be the first of many! David Wilson Homes’ support really helped to bring the day together, and the ice creams were thoroughly enjoyed on such a lovely sunny day!”
Leonna Hardcastle, Sales Manager at David Wilson Homes’ Saxon Gate development, commented: “We’re thrilled that the residents organised this lovely event to get to know their neighbours. It really shows the wonderful community spirit that we have here on the development, and I encourage interested buyers to come and visit the development to experience it for themselves.”
