Watson Buckle hosts cloud accounting demo for businesses in and around Bradford
Prominent West Yorkshire accountancy practice Watson Buckle has been trying to raise awareness of the benefits of cloud accounting by hosting a series of demos and workshops at its Bradford offices.
On Wednesday 25 April 2018, the firm hosted a free workshop for its clients promoting its fully-integrated cloud accounting solution, WB Connect.
Businesses that attended had the opportunity to learn about the far-reaching benefits of migrating their tax and financial records onto a cloud platform.
Guests were able to watch a demo showing how WB Connect works and how existing users of QuickBooks can enjoy a more personalised experience with WB Connect, whereby businesses and their accountants can collaborate in real-time.
Susan Sedgwick, Joint Managing Director at Watson Buckle, said: “Many businesses will be starting to think about cloud accounting now that the Government has confirmed its plans for Making Tax Digital, which will be rolled out as mandatory for some businesses for VAT purposes from as soon as April next year.”
“There are many more benefits businesses can reap if they choose to take advantage of a fully-integrated cloud accounting solution. Many businesses were unaware of the benefits of cloud accounting, which is why Watson Buckle has begun trying to raise awareness among local firms.”
“With cloud accounting, businesses can store all of their tax and financial information in one safe location. Using smartphone apps, business owners can enjoy significant time savings and are also able to communicate with their accountant via the platform should any unforeseen problems arise.”
Watson Buckle will be hosting more WB Connect workshops in May on Thursday 17 May 2018 at 2pm and on Wednesday 30 May 2018 at 10am, the firm is encouraging businesses from in and around Bradford to get involved.
