  • WYG Appoints New Africa Director

    Professional services firm WYG has appointed former PwC director Freddy Bob-Jones as Africa Director.

    Freddy will lead WYG’s international development work across Africa from its Nairobi office in Kenya, focusing on infrastructure for growth and development, as well as climate resilience and governance projects.

    At PwC, Freddy advised private and public sector clients on international development, strategy, and operations issues. He brings over 17 years’ experience managing and delivering complex programmes in a variety of countries, including Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, and Iraq.

    As a trained economist, Freddy has worked on multiple donor-funded international development projects centring on economic development, public governance reform, and digital in development issues. He also holds experience working as an economic advisor in UK government departments, such as DFID, HM Treasury, and the Home Office.
