Associate joins Clarion’s ten-strong Corporate Recovery team
Cat Tanham is the latest lawyer to join Clarion’s Corporate Recovery and Insolvency practice which has grown into a ten-strong team, including four partners.
An associate with Higher Rights of Audience, Cat has three years’ experience in commercial dispute resolution. She has managed complex cases at all stages of the litigation process in County Court, High Court and the Court of Appeal as well as advising on disputes involving general contract law, debt, misrepresentation, professional negligence and fraud.
Cat has acted on behalf of a wide range of clients across diverse sectors.
Ryan Millmore, joint managing partner and head of Clarion’s Corporate Recovery and Insolvency team, said: “Given Cat’s experience in litigation, her appointment adds further breadth in depth as we continue to grow the practice.
“Comprising ten specialist insolvency lawyers and with Cat becoming the third lawyer to join us this year, we are now one of the largest dedicated corporate recovery practices in the region.”
Earlier this year, Lisa Smith and Ashley Armitage were appointed as senior associates.
Cat adds: “Having managed various contentious matters involving insolvent companies and/or bankrupt individuals, I look forward to specialising further within Clarion’s renowned team. As well as technical experience, I also bring a pragmatic, commercial and outcome-focused approach which chimes with Clarion’s client-centric ethos. I am excited to be joining a firm with such a strong regional presence.”
