As Managing Director, he will be responsible for business operations and leading the direction in the next stage of BCN’s journey, reporting directly to BCN Group CEO, Simon Kelf. Rob will also continue to be responsible for the Sales and Marketing teams.

In the 18 months since Rob took over responsibility for the company’s sales and marketing function, BCN Group has generated record revenues with turnover increasing 13% to £27m for the 2020/2021 financial year.

Simon KelfCEO of BCN Group, said: “We have seen first-hand how Rob has a proven track record of delivering high quality results and his wealth of knowledge and understanding of the sector and the business will help to lead our next stage of growth.”

Rob Davies, Managing Director at BCN Group, said: “I am incredibly honoured to take the position of Managing Director. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at BCN Group so far and I look forward to working alongside our fantastic team to continue to grow and strive to always exceed our customers’ expectations.”

BCN Group has achieved substantial growth during the first half of 2021 both organically and through a series of acquisitions including Cloud2, Xicon Cloud and Polymorph. This has also allowed the business to strengthen its position in sectors such as healthcare, education, and both local and central government.

The enlarged BCN Group will continue to deliver award-winning IT services to the Northern Powerhouse, with the acquisitions also helping to improve the products and services offered to clients. This includes cutting-edge technologies, cloud solutions and IT security.

BCN Group has grown its turnover to £27m and expects to drive this to £50m by 2025. Expansion will be achieved through its ongoing search for strategic business acquisitions, organic growth as well as expanding the team with key hires and continued development of internal talent.
