Business support project to host innovation workshops

The PAPI (Product and Process Innovation) business support project is moving its Innovation Workshops online to support businesses during the Covid-19 crisis and beyond. Workshops, which are available to small to medium sized businesses in the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Region, will move online in June.

PAPI workshops provide practically-focused support from acclaimed business coach Dr Jo North, of The Big Bang Partnership, and help businesses optimise their commercial, innovation and entrepreneurial capabilities. Workshops are fully-funded (free) to attend, and participating businesses will receive expert innovation coaching and support to develop a personalised innovation plan. Businesses from all sectors are welcome to register to attend, as long as they are in Leeds City Region (this includes York, Selby, and Harrogate).

PAPI online innovation workshops are two days of activity via Zoom (a free-to-use video conferencing tool). Day 1 happens on 4th June and is re-run on 11th June while day 2 happens via a series of short online sessions across the week of 22nd June.

The first day will focus on business growth advice, support & expertise specific to you & your business via one-to-one & small group sessions online.

The second day of activity will be delivered through a number of workshops sessions including E-Commerce, developing an app, funding and finance and LinkedIn.

Previous workshop delegate, Michelle Brown from Wild Things Family Forest School said:

“If you ever chance to be a delegate on the PAPI Innovation Workshop, I would strongly recommend it, I have had access to lots of new tools, masses of inspiration and so much energy to take my business forward.”
