Faum Architecture launches recruitment drive to deliver new projects supporting the economic recovery of the city region
Faum Architecture have enjoyed a busy 12 months through lockdown with increasing levels of domestic projects coupled with new commercial instructions.
The architectural practice was initially set up in 2008 by Umer Akbar with Shoaib Mahmood joining in 2012. The business was originally based in the Bradford Chamber Business Park on New Lane prior to moving to its current location on Leeds Road.
The existing client base covers a variety of sectors including, education, community, residential and mixed-use
regeneration projects. The current team are mainly local and are extremely passionate about their work, which will also play their part in delivering economic recovery across the city region.
Shoaib Mahmood, partner of the practice, commented, “We have had an incredibly busy 12 months, the existing team have worked very hard through the pandemic and we’re really excited about recruiting and growing the team”. He also added, “We are proud of our roots as a Bradford Chamber start up and having connected with the newly formed BAME business committee, we’ve signed up as members of the chamber and are looking to delivering some amazing projects”.
Sandy Needham, CEO Bradford Chamber said, “We are so proud to see Faum Architecture, one of our first start ups grow from strength to strength and are also delighted to see them join the chamber as one of our newest members. We look forward to supporting and promoting their business and are here to help our members where we can”.
