Freeths facilitates management buyout
Star Brands is headquartered in Leeds and has a manufacturing plant in Redditch, and is responsible for the social media sensation “the Pink Stuff” and “Stardrops” which manufactures both branded and private label laundry and household cleaning products, and was involved in a widely reported Buy In Management Buy Out (BIMBO) last year, has moved its head office to Thorpe Park, Leeds – Building 1175 owned by CEG.
The move was completed last week and the offices are now being prepared for opening in early April. Star Brands has been established since the 1940’s. Headquartered in Leeds, it has a manufacturing plant in Redditch and employs around 180, with a turnover of £40 million.
Joint MD Tim North commented “As the business continues to grow, we have been looking for modern and convenient office space and Thorpe Park suits our requirements perfectly. It has been a busy period since the Buy Out in July last year and this new space marks a fresh start in the journey of Star Brands.”
