i-to-i TEFL courses get stamp of approval from US accreditation body

Leeds-based organisation, i-to-i TEFL has long been a firm advocate of ensuring high standards in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) across the globe. The company was therefore thrilled to receive an official stamp of approval for both its TEFL certification and TEFL diploma courses from the highly regarded US accreditation body, DEAC (Distance Education Accrediting Commission).

DEAC is formally recognised by both the US Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as an authority on quality assessment of distance education. Following a rigorous, nine-month evaluation process, i-to-i now joins a very select group of course providers across the world who have achieved the status of official DEAC AQC (Approved Quality Course) provider.

This latest quality mark comes on top of i-to-i’s longstanding accreditation by the UK’s Open and Distance Learning Quality Council as well as its enviable position of being the first TEFL company worldwide to have both its Level 3 and Level 5 TEFL qualifications formally recognised and regulated by Ofqual (the government’s body responsible for qualifications in England).

i-to-i’s Managing Director, Gordon Mathie, said: ‘Achieving formal recognition of the quality of our courses by DEAC is a reflection of i-to-i’s ongoing commitment to excellence in TEFL courses worldwide.’
